The 6th annual BizArt Conference is shaping up to be an engaging two days of workshops,
panel discussions, peer reviews and opportunities to network with fellow artists and conference
presenters. It's a great opportunity to expand your skills as an arts entrepreneur.
Successful artists don't work in isolation. They know that to thrive and adapt in good times
as well as bad, collaboration is the key to a brilliant career. As one artist once told Ms.
Rosenberg, "Success is a social activity." So, how do successful artists practice and use
collaboration in their careers? To write her latest book, "The Artist's Guide to Grant Writing,"
Rosenberg interviewed dozens of flourishing artists from across the country. What she discovered
is, though they come from a wide variety of disciplines, they all had similar tendencies or habits
that helped them succeed, both as an artist and as an entrepreneur. The most striking similarity
was the ability to collaborate with partners and/or in teams.
